Reading the shade code
Each kit is labelled with a number and a letter. The number shows how dark the shade is, from 1 (black) to 10 (light blond); the letter shows the tone.
- N – natural tones, such as 4N Natural Chestnut and 7N Hazelnut Blond
- B – brown tones, such as 5B Chocolate Brown and 6B Cocoa Brown
- M – mahogany tones, such as 4M Mahogany Chestnut

Before you colour
